Fletcher Augustus DeRouen

A diary for our son, by Joe and Andrea DeRouen

Friday, August 23, 2002

Fletcher continues to amaze me. He just turned ten months old today and has already been making serious strides towards walking. He does the "cruising" thing (walking along the couch, for example) and can even walk across the floor with a walking toy that his Grandmother Judy gave him. His intellectual skills are growing as well, as he continues to think up new games to play with his various toys. He's a wonderful boy!

The more mobile Fletcher becomes (and, believe me, he is more mobile than ever) the less time I have to update the website and add entries to this diary. That said, I'm updating it right now while I have the chance.

As of Tuesday, July 23rd, Fletcher was 18 lbs 1 oz, and 27 3/4" long. He's a growing boy!

Fletch crawls really fast now, and likes to stand up (by holding on to the couch, chair, etc.) whenever he can. predict he'll be walking well before his first birthday!
