Fletcher Augustus DeRouen

A diary for our son, by Joe and Andrea DeRouen

Thursday, February 28, 2002

As of Monday, February 25th, 2002, Fletcher weighs 14 pounds 1 ounce, is 24 1/2 inches long, and his
head is 16" around. He's almost doubled his birth weight and is getting really long. It's amazing to see the changes from day to day, and even more so from week to week or month to month. He's a wonderful little boy who smiles, giggles, squirms, and dances when watching Sesame Street or playing with me or Andee. I wouldn't trade him for anything.

Fletch is growing by leaps and bounds. He rolled over by himself the other day, and even drank a little water out of a cup last night. He's going in for his four-month check-up next Monday, so I'll have new stats (weight, length, etc.) to post here soon!

Fletch really loves his new saucer - and so do we! It let's him spin around and play with all sorts of little toys that make lot's and lot's of noise. And, speaking of noise, Fletch just started crying so I'll have to end this and write more later.

It's been a while since I've written in this diary, but Fletch has been changing almost daily. He plays with toys much more now, and seems even more interested in the world around him. Right now he's asleep in his swing, which is the reason I have this time to make this diary entry. More later.
